On Saturday, September 22, 2018, fifty of Andrea’s closest family and friends gathered together at the San Francisco Conservatory of Flowers for a baby shower that was meant to be a magical, Secret Garden-inspired affair.
Our client, Andrea, a radiant soon-to-be-mother, wanted us to help her capture a very important moment in her and her husband’s life—the birth of their first child. She envisioned a day full of extravagant floral displays and a lush setting for intimate moments she would share with dad-to-be and the rest of her loved ones.
Our event manager was on site at noon for important preliminary arrangements. Fork & Spoon event producers arrived at 3 p.m. to set up tables, the buffet, bar and welcome area. They arranged cocktail rounds in the Potted Plants Room. Table set up in the Orchid Pavilion included a tree dressed in lights and hanging orbs with candles. The Pavilion was adorned in elegant floral pieces, featuring orchids and succulents. Hunt Littlefield provided our event team with the beautiful floral arrangements. Misti Layne was also on site to help us capture the day and all its extraordinary moments.
Guests began to arrive at the conservatory at 6 p.m. The host of the event graciously welcomed guests at the entrance of conservatory. Once guests settled in, staff greeted them with glasses of champagne, white wine, fruit infused waters or a signature mocktail.
